Late this past Saturday was casually spent at one of Sydney's biggest attraction, Luna Park. I enjoyed the creepy carnival tunes as well as the old-fashioned paintings and sculptures despite my throbbing headache (due to lack of water and The Rotor).

A Week in Oahu: Day 1

A several days ago, I packed up a small amount of my belongs and left the beautiful island of Maui, the place I've called home for my entire life to make a necessary move to Sydney, Australia.
I can't wait to be in Australia once again to see Rachel and experience every amazing aspect of the great city I will soon reside in for the next year.
But before leaving Hawaii, Kale and I have decided to spend 8 days (from October 5th-13th) in our neighboring island of Oahu as a last farewell. Non-stop skateboarding, reuniting with friends, crowded bus rides, and bum-filled streets have consumed my final days here in paradise. Here are photos from day one of this ongoing Oahu trip.

Alex picked Kale and I up from the airport. (He moved here from Maui a few months ago even you guys didn't know).

My younger brother Kealii and I met back up for the first time in 3 months since his move to the UH Manoa dorms.

I was so glad to see Miles again. He's yet another Mauian who made to switch over to the gathering place.

Another Maui boy, Cole Ponte, moved over to have some Oahu fun a little while ago.

After the boy wrangling, we had a nice, long skate sesh at the world famous Aala skatepark. (videocomingsoon)

Sometime earlier this month, I was awoken by Alex Maielua to join the gang (which consisted of Robert Abordo, Jeff Clarke, Daniel Borges, and Pedro Royal Afaga) for a morning swim. As the day progressed, ideas were thrown around and someone somehow convinced Alex to buy an underwater 35mm camera and rent out snorkeling gear as well as a full body scuba set.

Exactly 30 days has gone by since I've been in Australia and I haven't lived a day without thinking about it even the slightest. I also haven't posted anything about me being back so this post is all about that.

Skype isn't as good, but it'll have to do.

I was apart of an art show called, "Maui Fever", which was held at the University of Hawaii Maui College.

Hung out with some of the boys and I'm glad I caught Blayne before he left for college at UH Manoa.

Speaking of college, I just ended my 2nd week of school as a first year student (at UHMC). This is my view of all the lucky students who made it in time to snatch some free food, while eating some free food.

I'm lucky I have at least one person to hang out with during my breaks. Thanks John even though we both didn't know our schedules matched perfectly.

This being my first semester is exciting and all, but I hate having to get into 'school mode' again. My first completed assignment (which was for Art101) was a autobiographical collage.

I received these goodies in the mail. I was sent back everything I forgot in Australia even though I told Rachel not to. I love you!

Something greatly surreal has happened to me and it's hard to explain how I feel thus far. After months of saved secrets and planning, I found myself awaiting an impending flight to Australia on the 8th of July. A very lengthy, exhausting travel from my house to the Taylor residence accumulated a total of 20 hours which was well worth it considering I would finally meet Rachel.

Hello viewers. While cruising and perusing on my computer, I had found some cellular phone pictures I had taken from last year. Now since my phone is so excellent, I thought it would be super fine to share with you my top 11 pictures from the lost bunch. "11?", you curiously ask yourself. Today is 3/14 of 2010 and 14 subtracted by 3 is 11. So yeah.

Some of my family went to the Westin Maui for a breakfast buffet and it was GREAT!

One of the days way back in the year 2009, I went to Wendy's with Kale and I received a container of normal sized fries accompanied by this very unusually long fry. I just think it's funny.

This very adorable young man is Tyson Takeuchi and he drove me up to Baldwin High School's senior ball. From the very beginning of that day, I knew I was in for some sort of bizarre treat. The night consisted of constant pie consuming, loud gay mainstream music (like Little Wayne) and many awkward conversations.

There aren't many fights at my Maui High and when there is I'm never there for them, but I somehow was lucky enough to be there for this one. Two girls were fighting and I'm pretty sure I seen someone's boob.

I don't remember when this was, but it was fun.

My younger brother Kealii is pretty different from me. I don't know how I caught him in this position, but I'm glad I did.

Ok, in this photo is Alex Nelson (the one wearing the hat) and Mikey. Back in my video game playing days (which ended only a few months ago) I would always play Call of Duty with these two and I would constantly ask Mikey if I could come up to his house for some french bread pizzas. I can't recall how many times I asked exactly, but if I could make an honest guess I would say maybe about 50 times. It was hawt. Well, finally one day, while in the midst of a hardcore COD6 match, I asked if I could skate to his place for some pizza. He unsurprisingly yelled at me about how I never actually go to his house. But little did he know that this time was actually happening. When I got there, he was so shocked he had to show me a Black Eyed Peas music video and this is them watching it.

Here lies some of my friends inside of Alex Maielua's home for his 17th birthday. Now that I realize there is only about 2 1/2 months left until high school graduation, it sucks to think that sleepovers like this probably won't happen ever again.

This photo is really the most perfect for this post because this was taken on the first night of my spring break of 2009. Here are two of my friends Pedro (standing) and Blayne in my friend Robert's bathroom. As you can (barely) see, Blayne sits in his own puke while Pedro kindly tries to nurse him. I left the house during the process of preventing Blayne from possibly choking to death, but I heard that it ended with Pedro washing him up real nice and letting him sleep inside the tub. I hope my first night of drinking won't turn out like this.

Last week sometime, I was surprised after coming home from school by an unexpected envelope sent by Rachel. After a few minutes of perusing my wonderful surprise, I decided that I couldn't possibly guess what she had sent and figured I'd opened it. In side was 5 amazing pictures of space (which she had shown me a few days prior to receiving my envelope via skype). On the backside of one of the photos, there was a little note for me which read, "Thought you may like these pictures from my collection. shoots." I do. Thanks again Rachel Rayo.
